Dawn brings to Generations over 25 years of experience as an Activities Director. She furthered her education and knowledge by becoming a Certified Activities Director. She served as the President of the Northeast Ohio Association of Activity Professionals for several years. Before her career in Activities, she was a floral designer and still does it on the side for family and friends. Ironically, she did all the floral arrangements for our Community Relations Director, Lisa Anthony’s daughter’s wedding.
Dawn was born and raised in Ohio. She grew up in Lorain, Ohio, and now is living in Avon Lake. Dawn has been married for 45 years to her husband Jeff, has two children, and three grandchildren who conveniently live in the Berea area. If you have not already noticed by all her Disney face masks, she is a HUGE Disney fan.
Dawn finds tremendous joy when interacting with our residents. She loves getting to know them personally and learning about their upbringing and backgrounds. Her main goal is the socialization of our residents. She engages them in rewarding, fulfilling, and enjoyable activities each day which keeps them happy and healthy.
