Dave was just 14 years old when he landed his first job with the Coury family; more than 32 years ago. Dave’s on-the-job training has made him an excellent fit for Generations. He knows the facilities inside and out and does his best to ensure the good repair, cleanliness and general security of the building and amenities. His enthusiasm for organization has ensured that any facility he has been responsible for is in outstanding condition.
A commitment to excellence earned Dave the Employee of the Year award in 1989. Dave is currently the maintenance supervisor in the Generations Senior Living of Berea facility. Dave keeps the GSL Berea facility up and running, ensuring that the 97 apartments are clean, well-maintained and available to rent at any time.
He loves working for a family business. “Mr. Robert Coury gave me my first job at Aristocrat West, when I was just 14 years old,” Dave said. “The Coury family has been great to me and my family, and I want Generations Senior Living of Berea to be No. 1.”
When Dave is not working, his life centers on his family. He has been married to his wife, Karen for 25 years and has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. Dave also loves playing poker and is an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
